If you have questions regarding your image please send it to our email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can advise.
What kinds of fabric can you print on?
Fabrics that are 100% cotton provide the highest quality printed results, as the water based inks used for DTG (direct to garment) printing do not adhere well to polyester.
For polyester garments we do heat transfer or vinyl heat pressing.
Embroidery can be done on any fabric.
Are there special washing instructions for the printed t-shirt?
Care Instructions for your t-shirt are found on your tag, but typical instructions are: Machine wash warm, inside out, with like colours. Only use non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry medium. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
What is Direct-To-Garment printing?
Direct-To-Garment printing is also known as DTG printing. This printing technique produces prints on fabrics digitally using a specialized inkjet technology. The printer applies the ink directly to the fabric and is absorbed by the fibres and then set with heat and pressure.
How is Direct-To-Garment different than silkscreen printing?
Direct-To-Garment printing is technology based. It uses computer programs to communicate with the printers. It allows printing in a rainbow of colours unlike silk screen where multiple colours increase costs. The speed of the DTG printing is astonishing; once the artwork is complete it can be immediately printed and worn! With the old silk screen method, setup and production of the final product is much slower and typically requires minimum orders and design restrictions.
DTG printing has no set up fees and no minimums and is totally customizable in a rainbow of colours!
Can I customize my t-shirt?
Yes, you can! For example, if you have a baseball team and would like to have your team logo on the front of the t-shirts and each player’s name and number on the back, this is no problem at all! Just a note: there is only one print included in the price of the t-shirt, so in the case of this example, the back side print of the name and number would be considered an extra print and would be an additional $10 to the cost of each t-shirt.
What's included in the price?
One t-shirt, one print and 15 minutes with our designer to either create your graphic or make minor changes to ensure it is print-ready. We do not charge extra for design time unless it is to create a company logo or a really involved graphic that takes more than 15 minutes to create.
Am I limited in how many colours I can print?
No. You can print as many or as few colours as you would like. We use a digital printer which allows us to print many colours at once, unlike silkscreen which requires a separate screen to be built for each colour.
Are there any setup fees?
Nope. No setup fees. Our machine is a Digital Direct-To-Garment Printer and does not require that screens be made in order to print. The ink is laid directly to the t-shirt from the print heads in the machine. Therefore, no setup fees.
